New exhibit posted, Casper Punch Bag
It still surprises me that with the mountains of merchandise I know were made for Casper, that no one has come forth with items to be exhibited here. Here is one of the few Casper items in the permanent collection, which I picked up at the Wayne NJ Toy and Collectibles Show I mentioned here.
When I was young, inflatable punching bags, or “bop bags”, were very popular toys. I had a Bozo the Clown similar to the one depicted here. Many bop bags were made of Richie Rich, some of which I will be featuring in the future. One of my most sought-after items is a Superman Bop Bag from 1970 made by Multiple Toy Makers. Richie Rich is depicted on the packaging punching the bag!
