They say as you get older, you get forgetful. While I acknowledge that as a problem, I have taken to writing everything down and that has helped. The bigger problem I am having is false memories, remembering doing something I did not in fact do. Case in point, I have two sets of Richie Rich rack toys, one by JA-RU and one by Larami. I remember photographing all of them at the same time, with the exception of a few pieces I acquired since. When I went to post an exhibit Sunday, I found the JA-RU pictures, but could not find the Larami pictures. Did I actually take them? Very frustrating.

Fortunately, while I was snowed in Monday, I set up my little photo studio again. I recently got a new macro lens, and wanted to try it out. I will photograph the Larami rack toys while I am at it. This is one of those times an assistant curator would be handy, to keep posting while I am in photography mode.

Speaking of photography, I have received several nice compliments on the exhibit photographs. I may post an article, or maybe even a series of articles, on my photography equipment and process if there is interest. Stay tuned!
