Sorry for not posting last week, but I was at Connecticut Comicon! My philosophy as of late has been to try to attend different conventions as much as possible, but I may make an exception for this convention.
The other exciting news is that right before I left for Connecticut, I received a new lighting kit with softboxes for my exhibit photography. Hopefully this will prevent a repeat of the mess I wrote about here.
I had posted a Jigidi puzzle of the turquoise version of this hat back in December. Today we have the yellow version. I still have not been able to purchase the red version. If anyone has one, please use the Contact the Curator form to let me know!
I had mentioned back in December that there are bits of Harvey corporate culture in the permanent collection which would not have been available to the general public but which have found their way into the collectibles marketplace. I was recently reminded that it has been a while since I posted any of these, so today I would like to share a “mock-up” or “paste-up” of an advertisement promoting Playful Little Audrey. The copyright beneath Audrey is 1961, so that is probably a good estimate of this piece’s age.
