The latest in the series of Jigidi puzzles of exhibit featured images is the second guest exhibit submitted. It is also the first of the many story records made featuring Harvey characters. I am, of course, referring to the Richie Rich Mysteries of the Deep story record:

It’s back to school time! I remember back in elementary school, in addition to new clothes and a new backpack, each year my parents would buy me a new lunch box. I had the rectangular raised metal kind with a thermos inside, featuring whatever show or cartoon I was interested in at the time. I never suspected those lunch boxes I used, abused and discarded would one day become collectibles.
Today is Labor Day in the United States, a day on which most of us do not do any labor. I am continuing the PolyGram/Parachute story records with “Surprise Party”. Despite the name on the front, the back tells us that there are three stories, the others being “Magic Man” and “Tight Fit”. I would assume “Magic Man” and “Surprise Party” are the same tracks featured on the book and record set featured here. Maybe some day I will be able to listen to both and know for sure.
Well, that was really scary! Some combination of updates caused this website to get stuck at the WordPress White Screen of Death. Renaming the plugins directory did not clear the problem. The fine tech support people at Arvixe finally used a restore point to recover some files and that got the website back up. While reading about restore points, I discovered I was doing my website backups incorrectly. I was doing a “Full Backup” in cPanel when it seems I should have been doing “Partial Backups” (from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine). I am glad I discovered this before I needed to rely on the backup!
While the website was down, I missed the two year anniversary of the Richie Rich Comics Fan Club. Happy anniversary Gloria! Congratulations on two years of awesome Richie Rich stories!
