I like to acknowledge Museum Day Live! (now just Museum Day) each year as part of the Harvey Mercheum “special days“. While it is fun to visit virtual museums like the Harvey Mercheum, it is much better to see exhibits in person if possible. On Museum Day, you can get a ticket that will allow two people entrance to one of over a thousand participating museums for free. Lifehacker posted on Monday that tickets for this year are already available.
