Harveytoons mini lunch box updated
There has been some discussion on the Harvey Comics Facebook group recently about the Harveytoons mini lunch box I posted as an exhibit back in September of 2015. I learned that there is a very cute Casper and Wendy version, which I hope to acquire an example of for the Harvey Mercheum permanent collection. And contributor Keith Manegre pointed out that the lunch box came shrink wrapped with candy inside, or empty in a clear plastic bag, and provided photo examples of each.
I have used the information from the shrink wrapped candy label to update the exhibit page, and updated the PDF as well. I had said that it seemed too small to use as a lunch box, and indeed American Specialty Confections called it a “horizontal carrying case”.
